The ability to wash and clean curtains is critical for contract interiors, such as hotels, which have a high turnover of people, and hospitals, where hygiene is non-negotiable. To destroy bacteria, viruses, and dust mites, textiles must be washed at a minimum temperature of 60°C. The majority of Vescom's curtains and sheers are machine washable at 70°C.
